Thrift Shopping

I always visit the Thrift shop in anticipation of leaving with a great vintage jacket or skirt hot in my hands, however, 9 times out of 10 I will leave feeling bitterly dissapointed and betrayed. Long gone are the days where cute, cheap unique pieces are able to be pulled from the sea of second hand ickiness. Instead of sifting through pre loved Dolce, old American Apparel acid wash jeans and flowery printed scoop neck dresses, I am met with waxy leather handbags, hideous Christmas sweaters, crusty shirts and worn down Doc Martens which have probably seen better days.....That's why finding an article which is cheap, fashionably retro and clean is something to be celebrated! It is not an everyday occurrence!
